Description:

The ideal candidate is experienced and knowledgeable in the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of distributed systems and services for the ingestion, aggregation, and usage of data at enterprise scales. You should be capable of taking technical and behavioral requirements, identifying strategies as solutions, and selecting solutions based on resource constraints. You should have a passion for delivering automated, service-oriented solutions to customers. You will work on a team of talented professionals responsible for the full life-cycle of production systems.

Direct experience working with data systems and tooling within the payments industry is required.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining service architectures that meet business goals
• Designing, developing, and maintaining analytical data models and metrics using highly scalable and modern technology that make up the analytical platform
• Providing direct support on tooling when customers require
• Participate in multi-disciplinary projects with our applications and analytics teams
• Work with business to understand requirements and build out analytical solutions while working with the architecture and operations teams to maintain best practices and standards
• Build and maintain internal services and architectures for data

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with BI/Analytics tools such as: Sisense, Metabase, Power BI, Tableau
• Profeciency with data design and modeling
• Deep working knowledge of any combination of the following technologies: Airflow, Databricks Kafka, Spark, Python, AWS Glue, AWS Redshift, AWS Athena
• 3+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Familiarity with technical product life cycles and maintenance in a production setting
• Knowledge of ETL tools like Talend, DBT
• Experience with cloud architectures and AWS supporting services
• Involvement in data management life cycles, data lineage, and data governance
